Marketing and Communications
We work with members of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s community to manage Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s image locally, nationally and internationally, strengthen our brand, and create compelling, consistent communications on the web, through social media, print publications and traditional and new media. Our goal is to engage prospective students and their families, alumni, donors and friends with the college in ways that generate positive interest, applications, gifts, pride and support for the college.
In short, the Office of Marketing and Communication uses various means – print, electronic, and face-to-face contact – to advance understanding of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s mission of providing education with a social conscience, and producing graduates with the intellectual tools to lead successful, purposeful lives that will contribute to peace and justice in our world.

We’re instrumental in bringing greater visibility and recognition to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s. Our mission is accomplished through initiating and facilitating relationships and communication with our greater Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s community, and our constituencies throughout New England, nationally and internationally.

Are you a journalist who would like to connect with one of our faculty experts or to learn more about Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s College
Marketing and Communications staff are available to help you with your requests, including:
- Locating and accessing interview sources, such as faculty experts;
- Arranging use of on-campus spaces;
- Finding clear directions and help with parking arrangements;
- Collecting background information or official comment needed for accurate and balanced reporting.

The safety, privacy, and unimpeded academic and extracurricular pursuits of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s College’s students, faculty, and staff are priorities. Residence halls and classrooms/labs are off-limits without prior arrangement through the Marketing and Communications office. Commercial production companies and non-news related media are required to contact Marketing and Communications and/or our Special Events team before conducting business on campus.
In the event of an emergency, the College’s administration and/or law enforcement or fire personnel can close the campus or areas on campus to the public, including members of the media. In such a crisis, staff will work to arrange off-site or alternative ways to provide media outlets with accurate and up-to-date information.
To submit a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s College event that occurs off campus that is open to the public, submit your event to /submit-new-event/.
Publications
Marketing and Communications tells the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s story through a variety of College publications, including the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Michael’s College Magazine. Our team provides publication management, through guiding, planning, creating and producing the College’s publications.
