Cybersecurity Program Learning Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ

Graduates who successfully complete Cybersecurity  major  are assessed in three ways during the course of their program: 1) a 2.0 GPA or higher in their major required courses; 2) meeting expectations in their Capstone project; and 3) successful performance on a series of exams including but not limited to: Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE) exam, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam.

Learning Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ

Upon successful completion of the major, Cybersecurity graduates are able to:

  • Understand the range of cyber threats present in modern society
  • Secure vulnerable technical resources against a range of cyber threats and attacks
  • Identify and test vulnerabilities in a system
  • Conduct a cyber forensic investigation of a security breach
  • Display the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Understand all concepts tested by the Certified Computer Forensics Examiner, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Information Systems Security Professional exams.
