The Institute for Global Engagement supports a variety of international internships, giving students an immersive international experience within another culture while participating in professional workplace settings. International internships provide students with opportunities for:

• Individual intellectual and professional growth and an increased level of self-confidence and independence of decision-making.
• The acquisition of work experience and hard and soft skill development in an international professional environment.
• The development of global and inter-cultural competencies to prepare students for global leadership in increasingly diverse and complex domestic and international society.

International internships supported by the Institute also seek to encourage more 麻豆视频 Michael鈥檚 alumni to consider life and work opportunities internationally, building further global connections to our students and faculty for programming, internships and employment.
